Our Founder

Kasim I. Rajahn is the owner and operator of Liberty Optical Lab, LLC. After enrolling in vision technology courses in high school, Kasim entered the optical profession as an optical lab technician at a premier optical lab. He continued his training in Ophthalmic Science, earning a degree in the field.

Kasim went on to work as an Optician at some of the top eyewear retailers in the nation and then transitioned to serving patients at Ophthalmologists' offices and medical clinics. Over the years, Kasim has worked with patients who had a variety of vision concerns including eyewear that treat myopia (nearsighted), hyperopia (farsighted), astigmatism, and presbyopia. He has also served patients with eye movement disorders, retinal disorders, corneal disorders, and trauma to the eye.

Kasim is certified by the American Board of Opticians and the National Contact Lens Examiners. He is also licensed by the Georgia State Board of Dispensing Opticians. 

He is married to his wife of 15 years and has four wonderful children. He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated.
